There are various methods for blocking adult websites, Which  includes modifying Parental Controls on Mac and Windows computers or even by using some browser add-ons or extensions that can block adult sites and modify your Safe Search settings.

Steps To Block Adult Sites In Windows :

Step 1: Open ” Control Panel ” and click on ” Network and Internet “.

Step 2: Click on the ” Internet options ” , Then the Internet Properties window will displayed  on the screen.

Step 3: Click on the “ Content ” Tab .

Step 4: Click on the ” Family Safety ” button.

Step 5: Select the ” User Account ” for which you want to block adult sites .

Step 6: Check the ” On , enforce current settings ” Option under ” Family Safety ” .

Step 7: Click on ” Web filtering ” , Under Windows settings.

Step 8: Select  ” can only use the websites I allow ” Option .

Step 9: Choose a web restriction level:

=> Allow list only : The child can View website on the Allow List. Adult site are blocked.
=> Designed for children: The child can View website on the Allow list and website designed for children.
=>General interest: The child can View website on the Allow list, websites designed for children, and website from the
general interst category. Adult site are blocked.
=> Online communication : The child can View website on the Allow list, websites designed for children, and website from the
general interst, social networking, web chat, and web mail categoris. Adult site are blocked.
=>Warn on adult : The child can View all website, but receive a warning when a site contains suspected adult content.
=> Block file downloads: Turning on web restrictions also turns on Safe Search settings for Bing, Google, Yahoo! and other popular search engine. Adult image are also blocked.

If you want that particular user to only view websites which are approved for children , Then Simply Select ” Designed for children ” .

Step 10: Done . Now adult sites will be blocked for that specific user.
